The period of quarantine began in March in Turkey, we treated only emergency cases for about 3 month.

Complications
Complications happen with reversible or irreversible results. They are annoying both ways.
The complications in the pictures you see below are less common.
Our patient was being treated with Damon Q brackets and his treatment progress was uneventful.
We could not see the patient for 5 months and we faced the problem of locked clips.
- All the clips were tightly closed, and we were not able to open them with the specific opening tool or any other instrument.
- The patient´s oral hygiene was good. Therefore, we thought that this problem was not mainly caused by organic debris accumulation.
- We removed the arch wire by cutting and sliding it from the lower left lateral bracket, but the cover still did not open.
- Ultrasonic cleaning, acid and EDTA applicatio oin and around the slot also did not work neither.
Solution: We removed all the brackets and renewed the brackets.
We planned distalization with the Pendulum appliance to the patient.​
- When we met the patient 6 month later, we saw that the activation worked in an uncontrolled manner, and the molar moved in an undesirable way.
Solution: We removed the pendulum and let the molar to relapse for 3 weeks.
Then we constructed a TPA. This photo is where TPA was first applied.
