he websites of GC Orthodontic Europe GmbH use Google Analytics, a website analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Only in exceptional cases, the complete IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data. You can disable the cookies by changing the settings of your browser software accordingly.

IV. Embedded YouTube-Videos

We embed YouTube videos on our website. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells YouTube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can track your surfing behavior to you. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

If you have deactivated cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to deal with such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

V. Comment function

When users leave comments on the site, in addition to this information, the time of their creation and the username and email address and IP previously selected by the website visitor are stored. This is for our security, as we can be prosecuted for illegal content on our website, even if it was created by users.

An anonymized string may be created from your email address (also called a hash) and given to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.

For the comment function on our site, we use the wpDiscuz plugin. This allows us to use advanced features such as subscribing to comments. wpDiscuz uses cookies for its functions, which store the user’s data in the browser. This allows users to publish comments under different posts without having to wait for a new activation.

VI. Social Plugins

On our website we offer you the possibility to use so called “Social Media Buttons”. To protect your data, we use a solution called “Shariff”. Hereby the share buttons are implemented as static images, which contain a link to the corresponding social network site. If you click on such a button, you will be redirected to the respective social network site in the same way, as normal links would do as well. Only in that moment of time the provider of the social network site will get information about you, for example your IP address. If you do not click on such a share button, no data will be transmitted. VII. LearnDash LMS

What we collect and store

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

–Send you information about your account and order

–Create your account for our LMS

If you register a free account then we will store your email address.
We store information about you for as long as your account exists.
We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and/or essay submissions (if applicable).
We will also store comments on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Group Leaders can access:

–Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress and username / email address.

Any additional information added in your WordPress User Profile can also be visible to the administrator(s).

VIII. Additional Important Information

If you would like to ask what information has been stored by us or to correct, change or delete your information, you can send an e-mail to this e-mail address: info-de@gcorthodontics.eu.
With due regard to data privacy protection regulations, we will delete the stored person-al information pertaining to you without you having to doing anything when the information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was stored or when storing it is impermissible for other legal reasons. In some cases provided for by statutory law (e.g. if there are statutory retention obligations), your information may be blocked instead of being deleted.
