Since 2006, Teodora Yordanova is an assist. Prof. in the  Department of Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University, Sofia. She is involved in teaching practical classes to Bulgarian and foreign students.

In 2008 she finished her specialization in Orthodontics, held in the Faculty of Dental Mecidine, Medical University, Sofia.

Dr. Yordanova is a co-author in 4 monographs and textbooks and is currently finalizing her Ph.D. thesis on hypodontia.

She is specialized in interceptive orthodontic treatment and myofunctional  orthodontic appliances. Her professional activities are also focused on the organization of theoretical seminars and practical workshops.

She is the owner and CEO of Orthogyn Medical and Dental Center.
